Actually we can apply English teaching in science. One of texts that can be applied is science activity. You may have ideas about some experiments in science. In the experiments, certainly there are some steps as it exists in a procedure text. In my experience, I once introduced procedure text in this field. Here some steps when I conducted my teaching activity.
Teaching preparation:
1. Create a text in science field, for instance: How to prove the number of oxygen in the atmosphere.
2. Copy the text based on how many groups you will divide your students.
3. Create the text in the form of game activity, i.e. puzzle.
4. Prepare some materials which will be used in the teaching demonstration.
5. Do it in your teaching activity.
While teaching:
1. Divide your students into some groups.
2. Ask your students in group to rearrange your puzzles.
3. Ask each group to present their work with demonstration in front of the class.
4. Discuss the materials they are discussing.
